## Who we are

Lone Star Media started in Austin in 2000 building websites for local businesses. Today it builds and runs its own SaaS products and ships software for clients. The team is small and senior: no account managers and no junior bench, and the engineers on the kickoff call write the code. Roots are in Austin; part of the team works out of Southwest Colorado, and the rest of the engineering team works remotely from Poland and Ukraine.

### AI and MCP integration (The MCP Sprint)
A custom MCP server connects your CRM, database, documents or internal tools to Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants so they can look things up and do real work inside your systems. You decide exactly what's exposed: read-only where you want it, changes only where you allow them, and logging on everything. Most servers ship in two to four weeks at a fixed price agreed after discovery. It can run on your systems or ours, and you own the code either way.

### AI Slop Surgery
For apps that AI wrote and nobody can maintain. Phase 1, Triage (1 week): a full review with a written diagnosis and a plan in priority order. Phase 2, Surgery (2 to 6 weeks): fix the dangerous parts first (sign-in, payments, anything that could corrupt data), then untangle the structure, add tests and set up reliable releases.
